
Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are to ensure effective engagement with the participant and Perfect Balance Retreats. Where this document refers to “participant” it means whoever is making the booking with Perfect Balance Retreats. Where an individual is booking on behalf of others, the group’s acceptance of these terms and conditions is given through the booking organiser.

These terms and conditions have been written with the intention to be clear and understandable. If you have any trouble understanding the document or have any questions or queries regarding its content, please get in touch.

Assumption of risk: By participating in any retreat activity, you agree to take reasonable responsibility for your own health & safety and that of other participants where appropriate. It is your responsibility to make your own decisions and to take appropriate actions based upon any advice or suggestions offered by experts. During the retreat, it is your responsibility to look after your own personal belongings, Perfect Balance Retreats cannot be held responsible for any loss to personal belongings sustained during the retreat.

Medical: Any medical condition (and/or medication currently being taken) which affects your daily health and may impact on your involvement in the activity must be disclosed at the time of booking. Should medical information have changed since filling in a booking form the staff must be updated as soon as possible. These conditions include (but are not limited to) heart conditions, breathing issues, joint problems, vision issues, allergies, asthma, spine/back pain, dizziness and any pre-existing or recent injuries/conditions.
Refusal to engage: In the interest of your own and the group’s enjoyment and safety, Perfect Balance Retreats reserves the right to refuse to engage with a participant where their behaviour, medical condition and/or physical ability may make it unsafe or inappropriate to continue with an activity.
Venue: Any breakages/damages caused to the property by the participant must be paid for.
Cancellation of retreats: Due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel the retreat. We will always aim to give you as much notice for this as possible and reimburse you within 10 working days of the cancellation notice. Any costs or losses incurred as part of a cancellation (e.g. transport/accommodation) will not be reimbursed by Perfect Balance Retreats.

Retreat itinerary changes: Perfect Balance Retreats reserves the right to alter the retreat programme and itineraries where necessary. If an expert is unable to attend the retreat, where appropriate we will bring in another expert. Perfect Balance Retreat will inform all participants of any changes.

Participant cancelling a booking: We understand that unexpected events can arise that can affect your plans. Please inform us as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you need to cancel for whatever reason, please let us know 4 weeks before the retreat start date, so we have a bit of time to offer your space to someone else. If you have to cancel less than 4 weeks before the retreat, please contact us and if we have someone who is able to take your place right away, you'll get a full refund. If you cancel within 4 weeks of the retreats start date and we don't have anyone to take your place we sadly won't be able to issue a refund.
Covid-19: We ask that all participants take a lateral flow or PCR test within 24hrs before attending the retreat.
Payment and confirmation: Your space on the retreat will be confirmed as soon as your payment has been received. Spaces are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Photos/Videos: We may take photos/videos for marketing purposes during the retreat. If you do not wish for this to happen, please make your host aware prior to starting the course.
GDPR: Any information we collect will be held on our secure password protected system. This will be kept for as long as required, after which the information will be delated. We will never sell your personal information to anyone. By completing the booking form and payment/deposit, it will be taken that these terms and conditions have been read and agreed.
